MARVEL AT ALMEDÍJAR NATURE RESERVE AND THE STRIPPING OF THE CORK

Guided walk through the Sierra de Espadán Nature Reserve.

We head down into the Mosquera canyon and discover this wild expanse of a landscape until we come to the farmhouse of the same name, formerly used in cork production. After an easy descent down the Almanzor dry river bed, we reach the old Moorish town of Almedíjar, famous for its natural springs, its organic cheese made the traditional way (with thistle flowers) and its red wines, now achieving a well-deserved reputation. A tasting session before lunch will round off the morning.
